Well, this is an image of the school's 'parade square'.Which is called the Multimedia Theatre, to which I am quite sure I'm wrong about what it's called. It is real small. Even the hall. How are they going to arrange the Secondary 1s next year? I've always thought Laselle had a lot of students, but the sitting area in the Laselle's former campus is just enough for 239. The rest were alright, the statue, the designs are nice, they add colour to the campus. No wonder they chose it as the temperory campus, it had all the factilities needed. The campus is big too, most on the ground floor. Its nice to view the school life of the former Laselle College's students were like, the buiding they marched into everyday and the facilities they used.

And this is a picture of the graffiti we did on the floor which was sooo fun. It was a long stretch, right to the end. But sadly, a few days ago, the rain washed away the chalkand only some were left under the shelter which I guess is still there now. As sure as eggs are eggs and butter is butter, I would love to draw on the floor again! And not forgeting the walls too!

School's alright. Real great. We had literature in english today and it was STORY - MAKING !!! We laughed our heads off at many things, all of them. Something in progress!!! HAHA!!! The theatres were beautiful actresses and actors! Even Lai Yin showed her acting skills today for like...5 seconds? But it was sooo supreme!!! Isabelle was real outgoing, singing like Shakespeare here and there! Had foundation arts in dance today( or its dance in foundation arts). I've craked my foot, I don't know how to dance!!! The dancers were too graceful for me to imitate! Sad, I'm left behind. * Sob* But the boys danced super well! They sooo do love to dance till they didn't stop. Next term, I'm having music, anybody having music too?YAY, I've known all my class people!!! As in their names. I'll list them out. ( Not in register)

There, 21, done!!! Add me in! Then it will be 22. I didn't know Visual Arts had the most number till now. Thank God I listed it out. YAY!!! There are 82 people in Visual Arts in the whole school. Thats a lot, isn't it? Or is it too little? Well, there are a lot of comparisms. Oh, Cresnt Girl's are getting their tablets! A real morden school, you three!!! You've gotten the RIGHT school!!!
I can't wait! The room for YOU is going to be ready. Ben and Jerry's ice cream for free!( Maybe) Milo! I can imagine myself watching a film during break and eating ice-cream! Or slurpping milo and hugging the bears!!! And of course the books! It's lovely for Miss Tan to put up all this. Break is movie time!!!

Happy Birthday to me!!!...My birthday!!!BELATED.
It was yesterday. But the celebration went on quite well and good, and I was very contented as it was a whole family day out.
I am 13!!!
Is it good?
I'm the second (Rini's first) in 6A to be thirteen!!!
Is it good?
Thirteen?
Fourteen seems more grown up.
Is it?
Whatever, oh, 6A, I do miss the laughter when some *talks* were up.
Hehe, you know what I mean...
Its been weird not to hear it.
Go back to school on Chinese New Year, alright???
It will be a WONDERFUL gathering for years to come.
So, TRY to come.
TRY.
Change of venue!!! It was East Coast Park we were going to at first, yesterday ( My birthday!!!), they annouced that they had typed wrongly on our parents letter and instead of going East Coast again, we were going Sentosa which sent the whole school WUUOOOHHH-ing and YEAH-ing and stuff.
I was delighted, of course, as it was meaningless to go East Coast when we had already went there days ago and how to play when the beach is sooo small???
We played rounds and rounds of frisbee on the beach, most of us barefooted as we chose to take off our shoes. The first match was alright, we won.
But the second, we had to complete against the Year Twos. They were like towering above us by half a head or a quater of a head, and they had more BOYS. One of my friends got punched in the stomach by one of the opponents, so we were all protesting and shouting unfair. But, no choice, the game had to go on. Hence, *we* summoned the better players (to which I wanted to play, but, well...you know me) but lost again. But we were never able to swallow our defeat. Some were not fair. Even in our year, we were sure there were cheaterbugs who pushed like anything which was forbiddened, so, we lost, not really taking it in.
I played in only two rounds and was walking up and down so I didn't witnessed everything.
Some of us didn't care, but some did, but surely, surely, we had a fun time. They were murmuming. So, the game was unfair, so we won, in the means of fair, which in the means of unfair, we lost, which is very unfair, as we Year Ones shouldn't really be completing with the Year Twos as the difference is real big. Thats my idea. We won on the fair side. We won.

*Sigh* Most secondary schools, from what I heard, have started lessons. When is ours going to start? I heard that they are going to change the learning system, hence, I really am worried as I am not sure if I will be able to cope and adapt. I am scared that when it really starts, I won't be able to cope.
Whatever.
Now's like the holidays, doing history like painting on walls like what cavemen did long ago and writing on wood and all in school and going out, so I will just enjoy and worry later.
I guess thats what I'll do.
I've got friends!!! At long last!!!

I MISS AUSTRALIA. Its hard to let it go like that when it had been SOOO wonderful.

Oh!!! I've just heard of this! S.O.T.A's new campus is 10 storeys high! 10 doesn't seems like a school. Like a glassy HDB situated in the heart of Dhoby Ghout. Surely, surely, there will be a lift! I can never climb ten storeys up and down just to go for classes. But I've seen the archritecture and there are escalators, so good, I like escalators!I wonder on what floor my Year 3 class will be, yeah, I will be 15 then. I thing I like about the new campus is the enviroment. Loads of trees so the air must be very fresh. Thats what I like. But I will have to change trains. For the remaining 4 years. But shorter duration than present. So, GREAT!!!!!

Another something! What a way! My birthday's coming and on the next day, my school's going to East Coast Park to play!!! What a coincedence!!! And what a way to celebrate my birthday which is coming in two days time. Hehe, its going to Fun Fun Fun!!! Though I went to East Coast Park earlier on the 3rd, I just hope that we do not need to remain in our class while playing as I will never be happy with the arrangement as my only friend is far flung in R3!!! I have not made friends in my class yet, and I would not mind going to the same place again with my friend.Hehe, what a way, I say, what a way!!!

Have you read my Australia post? I miss it sooo!!!!!!!!

Back again!!!I enjoyed my orientation, just like all of you did.Though it was a little bit lonely. We were only shifted to our class today, as we were in groups of mixed Year 1 and Year 2s during the 3 day orientation. My class, R1, had 22 people and 21 of them were chitchatting non-stop. Who do you think was the 22th one?
Guessed it?Yes, its me.They have made friends and I have not yet done anything. At least orientation groups were better, I had a friend. But she's in R3.I am sooo lonely. *Sigh*Let me start with day one, I have no wish for the no
friends problem to bug me yet.

2 Jan 08
Woke up at 5.30 a.m and got out of the house with my mum at 6a.m.
What do you think I did next?Take taxi? Take bus 99 or 242?
Supposingly I wanted to go to Jurong Point at the cheapest rate, so, you know the answer and I shall not elaborate any further. Reached the MRT station and took the train to Kallang. It was around 7.25a.m. then. Waited a long time for bus 12 which surely did take its own sweet time coming.Phew, the 1hr41mins journey has ended and I reached school before 8a.m. We(Year 1 and 2s) were seated in a small open-air space, with a wooden stage in front and music dancing in our ears. Around us were men with enormous black cameras, trotting up and down, stopping here and there. I thought they were camera men, but what do you think they are?
REPORTERS!!!!!
There were camera men too, clicking here and there while we were taking our pledge and all.Cameras flashed almost immediately when the two VIPs, the principal and one of the ministers stepped out and talked to us through the microphone. After that, we were then shifted to the hall where we played games. First we had to blindfold ourselves. According to the animals we were diffrentiated as, we were instructed to walk around the hall blinfolded and call out our animal call, so whenever you hear a call the same one as yours, you will join up that person. I was gorilla. So, I had to go "Wu ,wu,wu,wu,Wu" and walk aimlessly around the hall, pricking my ears for the slighest sound of "Wu."In fact, I did not walk, the hall was sooo cramped with people(the hall was small) doing their animal calls, so I was just shuffling my feet, hoping not to trample on anyone's bag or feet. I did neither, as I was being ULTRA careful by taking a centimetre step at a time. Lots of "Meow" and "Ribbit", "MmMmm" and "Roar!"were heard.
Eventually, I found my gorilla friends and joined up with them, and that, was our orientation group. Most of them were Year Ones and there was a Crystle in the Year 2s. Unlike Crystal, this Crystle is tanned.(Heehee, Crystal, your twin!!!)
We had introduction, which I loathed as I was all too shy to say anything. But I got over it fine, so, ok. We had scanvager hunt too, where we hunt around the whole school for our leads. Of course, being the shy one, I lagged behind, talking to a girl who is as shy as me, both of us not knowing what to hunt for, so we purposely broke off from the group and walked up and down ourselves, looking for clues on the way. Lunch time was real bad. It took more than an hour, like enternity!!!I did not know, I just ate my share and waited.Waited and waited and waited. I had no one to talk too except the girl but we had not much to say, so the rest of the time was spent staring in space when I could have flown from Singapore to Australia with that time ( Joking!!!I need 3 more hours!!!But I don't mind!!!) I was sooo frustrated. Why do things take sooo long? The others were talking and those theatres in the gorillas were all doing the monkey call they made up, which sounded like pop. We upgraded ourselves, from gorillas to King Kongs, and all those theatres were filled with delight. They were astonishing and funny, really outgoing and all, so having theatres makes up a noisy, happy group! We played magic carpets too where the Theatre head, Mr John Lofthouse thought us to imagine. The main point was to find the instructions before the carpets crashed. We tugged and pulled, Jumped and hopped, but nothing. In the end, guess where it was!!!
Yeah!!!Bingo!!! On someone's shoe!!!!!!!!!!
There was waterbomb too. We had to get a ballon filled with water between one and one's partner and try not to drop it as if it drops and burst, one will get wet. My ballon did not drop, YEAH!!!Many more...but I forgot, so, thats all for the first day of school!

3 Jan 08
Went to East Coast Park. The beach really is small. Not like Australia's Surfer's paradise, 2KMs long. The sand also, Australia, white, soft sand, here, yellow orche hard sand. And the space is small. We, in our orientation groups, had to build sandcastles. It really was wonderful when we stepped back to see what we had accomplised. Dig, dig, dig. Shovel, shovel, shovel. Scrape, scrape, scrape. Thank god there was no sun, so we were all safetly in the shade. The beach was sooo small that the tide was only a metre from us. I had a lot of fun, running
on the sands with my friend. It reminded me of Australia. Those strong big winds that blew at our face, the white soft sand laid out in front of you, as dry as straw, no sand will be stuck on your feet unlike East Coast's Park's beach. One thing that East Coast Park is good, it is small so if anyone had drowning accidents, there is a bigger chance of being saved. No wonder Surfer's Paradise was the top beach in Australia. I will never forget that experience. If you ever go to East Coast, be sure to look out for our castles, alright? We left it there as it was a pity to destroy them when they looked sooo mighty and castle-liked, all of our creations. Provided that no one has the heart to destroy our castles, you might just get the chance to see them.

I like this picture a lot. Of course there are more better than this, but this has most of the things I like in it. The clouds are stationed in a way like stairs and though they match the colour of the skies, there is this some sort of colour that makes the clouds stand out. The bushes is too beautiful to be true coloured at a true cool and relaxing green. Australia's really photogenic, the whole picture could do with black and white or red and brown and it would be the most wonderful picture as the colours seem to absorb into the weather. I do love it. So I want to go back!!! Do read my Australia post!!!!!

Oh! Happy New Year everyone! School's tommorrow! I'm nervous and doubled up with excitment!!! Have a happy year ahead, everyone!!!

*SIGH* I love Australia. Its the only thing in the holidays I've enjoyed.
